Son Cubano

El Son is a style of music that originated in Cuba and gained worldwide popularity in the 1930s.

Son combines the structure and elements of Spanish canción and the Spanish guitar with African rhythms and percussion instruments of Bantu and Arará origin.

The Cuban Son is one of the most influential and widespread forms of Latin American music: its derivatives and fusions, namely salsa, have spread across the world and is enjoyed by many, right in our beautiful setting.

“All artists need some degree of madness to master their craft. Mine is the passion for creating the best experience through food.”

Executive Chef Ricardo Cardona

The 1950's

At the peak of its elegance, Cuba was like today’s modern-day Hamptons.  It was the place to be, where Hollywood celebrities would rush to visit for fun in the sun and later social entertainment. The scene was lavishly tasteful and abundant with cultural influences and rhythms that would make it easy to enjoy endlessly.

From the decor to the cuisine, the scene was set to impress and every detail was intended to be savored.   Since then, Cuba has changed due to changes in government, but to us, the era of glamour and fun never ended; it lives right across the Hudson River, overlooking a world famous New York City Skyline, right through our doors.

We feature traditional Cuban fare, celebrated classic & flavored “Mojitos” and a magnificent New York City view as you dine along the world’s famous Hudson River that unites New Jersey and New York.

This exclusive location is one that has become a “must” during your stay in the metro area or as a favorite local hot spot for you, your family and friends.  All these factors make our restaurant a must-see, must-experience dining destination.

We would love the opportunity to provide you with high-end service and the cuisine to match its elegant ambiance. Come in with your family, friends, and colleagues and let the sounds, taste, and traditions of Cuba accompany you during an amazing dining experience or an after work drink.

The ambiance and decor were electrifying. My girlfriend and I decided to have dinner and drinks. The mojito bought me back to Miami just enough sugar cane but not too sweet and refreshing!

Mike Cordero

Wonderful! Food was excellent, great music, and a beautiful waterfront view!

Carol Ann Rati
